28th Mikel Lovina Jamborun: Run with Purpose
The Mikel Lovina Jamborun, now in its 13th year, is an annual fundraising event held in memory of our beloved sportsman, son, brother, cousin, and friend, Mikel Lovina, who tragically passed away in a car accident at the age of 18. Each year, Mikel’s family and friends run a distance corresponding to the number of years since his passing.
This year, we will run 28 kilometers, but you are welcome to run any distance.
Join us in making every kilometer count! Proceeds from this event will support the Negrense Volunteers for Change Foundation’s Mingo Nutrition Program, helping to provide meals for undernourished children in the Philippines.
HOW YOUR PARTICIPATION HELPS
For every kilometer you run, a child will be fed. Thanks to our generous sponsors, 1 kilometer = 1 Mingo Meal.
The more kilometers we run, the more children we can help.

HOW TO JOIN
Register for the Event
1. Sign up on the Race Ya website: https://register.raceya.fit/event/jamborun2025.
2. Follow the prompts and pay the registration fee.
3. Once validated, you’ll receive a confirmation notice with a downloadable, shareable E-Bib.
4. Spread the word and invite others to join—every kilometer counts!
RACE DAY INSTRUCTIONS
- Download Strava and sync it with your Race Ya account for automatic uploads.
- Prefer another fitness app? No problem—manually upload your runs to your Race Ya account.
- Log in to your Race Ya account and go to your Dashboard.
- Click “My Activities” and select “Sync Strava Activities.”
- Follow the on-screen instructions to link your accounts.
- Once synced, your Strava logs will automatically appear in your Race Ya account for easy submission.
- Log in to your Race Ya account and go to your Dashboard.
- Click “Upload Manually.”
- Fill in the required details: date, distance, time, and proof of your run (photo or link to your fitness app log).
- Submit your entry.
- Uploads must be completed by January 27, 2024, at 11:59 PM. Late submissions will not be validated.
- The leaderboard will display your name and distance once your runs are approved.
