FINIS is a Latin word that signifies "the end" or "grand finale." It holds symbolic meaning to the company as it not only contains the word 'fin' (our first product), but the word FINIS also represents the true nature of why we, as swimmers, undergo such rigorous training schedules. We continue to strive and improve upon such an unnatural, but immensely rewarding sport.

FINIS is, and will always remain, whole heartedly committed to the discovery and development of innovative swimming products that enable athletes to meet that "end" or "grand finale" of a finish line that we as competitors and individuals set as a benchmark to become bigger and better than who we are today. 

• This meet shall be conducted under the Swimming Rules of FINIS Swimming and the Federation Internationale de Natation (FINA) as prescribed. Ground rules which have been agreed upon shall be implemented.
• All heats will be TIMED FINALS. Overhead start will apply. Heats will be swum in multi-age level. Final result will be sorted according to their respective age group.
• Participation is open to all invited School, Club and LGU swim teams.

• Only coaches or its authorized representative can submit their official entry using the prescribe entry form provided by this Info Kit.
• Individual entries must submit their entry using the same format and will be placed to UNATTACHED TEAM.
• Entry fee is P2,300.00 Pesos per swimmer entered.

• Entries deadline: July 25, 2022 Monday 10:00 A.M. Team entry list will be sent to Coaches by July 28, 2022 at 9:00 A.M. for checking if their entries are in order. (Make sure to email your corrections ASAP as to avoid delay during the race day)
• Late or incomplete entries will not be accepted.
• Final submission of scratches is on July 29, 2022, 5:00 P.M.
• Please include complete birthdates (mm-dd-yyyy) Gender of each swimmer.
• Verifiable seed times must be submitted. Otherwise, swimmers with NO SEED TIMES will be declared NT and placed at early heats.
• Coaches must make sure all information entered is true and correct.
• Deck entries will not be accepted except for Relay Order changes.
• There is no limit to the number of events the swimmer may swim.
• Team Manager (TM) events will be provided for those submitting entries through TM. Coaches need to provide a copy of their swimmer’s roster.

Protests are possible:

• If the rules and regulations for the conduct of the meet are not observed,
• If other conditions endanger the competition and/or competitors, or
• Against decisions of the Referee; however no protests shall be allowed against decisions of fact.

Protests must be submitted:

• To the Referee;
• In writing;
• By the Team Coach only
• Together with a deposit of P 4,500.00; and
• Within 30 minutes following the posting of the result of the respective event.
• If the protest is rejected, the deposit will be forfeited to the organizers. If a protest is upheld, the deposit will be returned.
• If conditions causing a potential protest are noted prior to the competition, a protest must be lodged before the signal to start is given.

• Maximum of one entry per team in the relay events.
• Entries should include name of each swimmer and their order of swim. Relay entries must be submitted together with the individual events. Relay order list may be changed until 8:00 A.M. only during the meet.
• Stairstep relay swimmers may swim up from their respective age group to cover a higher age group but cannot swim down from their age group.

• An administrative fee of P 50.00 shall be imposed for each competitor who scratches after the deadline (for scratches) ends.
• Coaches must present scratches to the Recorder sixty (60) minutes prior to the start of the competition.
• The fee will only be waived upon submission of a valid medical certificate.

• Warm up starts at 6:00 A.M.
• FINA Warm up guidelines will be observed

• There is NO DIVING AT ALL until 7:00 A.M., then diving is only allowed in those lanes marked to do so.
• There is NO DIVING IN CIRCLE SWIMMING LANES AND TURN PRACTICE LANES, entry to these
• lanes is to be feet first, from a sitting position. Paddles and fins are not allowed during warm up.

• Gold, silver and bronze medals for the top 3 places in each event.
• Trophies for the top 3 Team Places based on points.
• Highest pointer award for each age group for both male and female.

Top sixteen (16) best times of swimmers in each event from the combined results of the Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao competition will qualify for the FINIS National Finals.

The following health protocols must be followed while inside the competition venue:

1. Wearing of face mask at all times when not swimming.
2. Observe one meter social distancing
3. Sanitize with alcohol on specific areas
4. Other health protocol of the Department of Health (DOH) and IATF

Food and drinks will be available at reasonable prices

1. Registration is only confirmed after payment. Paid fees are non-refundable, non-transferable & non-creditable to future FINIS Short Course Swim events.
