AG Category: Please be reminded that your Age Group (AG) Category is based on your chosen distance and your Tri-Age (2022 - BirthYear).
Category Merging: AG categories from the same distance and gender with less than five (5) participants will be merged to the nearest age group with fewer participants. Merging will be done once the registration closes on April 15,2022.

The longest running triathlon event in the Philippines is finally happening on May 1, 2022. After two postponements in 2020 and 2021.

PARTICIPANT CATEGORIES
There will be Top 3 winners for the following:
- Elite Open and U23 and Junior Elite Men and Women
- Age Group Sprint Men & Women: 16-19,20-24,25-29, 30-34,35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 and over
- Age Group Standard Distance Men and Women: 18-24,25-29, 30-34,35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 and over
- Age Group Sprint Distance Boys and Girls: 13-15
- Team Relay SD All Men, All Women and Mixed
- Team competition SD
Note: Slots capped at 450 participants only.
RACE RULES
- Body markings (race numbers) must appear on both upper arms.
- Bikes must be racked at the designated spot of the bike rack in the transition area.
- Bare torso biking or running is not allowed.
- Vehicular traffic will be controlled but not closed.
- Athletes must follow all traffic rules, safety protocols and watch out for his/her own road safety.
- No headsets or music devices in the bike and/or run.
Team Competition
• Each triathlon team with at least three (3) male and one (1) female athletes under the standard distance category are automatically qualified.
• We will get the best time of the three (3) male and one (1) female from each team, combine their finish time to get the team's overall time.
• Only age groupers are eligible for this race.
• Current members of the National Triathlon and Duathlon Teams are not allowed to join the competition.
• Filipinos who are not current members of the National Triathlon and Duathlon Teams but joined a race as Filipino Elite are also not allowed to join.
• Team members are still qualified for individual awards.
HEALTH MANAGEMENT
In accordance with IATF and SBMA directives, the use of masks in all public places is required.
Throughout the 7-day period before, during, and after the 2022 SuBIT, all persons involved should perform regular health self-checks such as temperature detection and monitoring of symptoms.
• Pre-Race Requirements:
* Download and sign the Waiver, Health Declaration Form, and Pledge of Adherence to all safety protocols 2022 SuBIT FORMS
* Request for a Medical Certificate of Fit to Race.
* Prepare Parental Consent for minors joining the race.
* Prepare the Vaccination Card.
• Race Protocols:
* Take an on-site Antigen Test and produce a negative COVID-19 result before proceeding to the registration area.
Note: Antigen Test will be paid by athletes and/or their companion.
* Upon registration, provide a copy of your valid ID and vaccination card, your Negative COVID-19 test result, a signed Event Waiver, and a signed Health Declaration Form. Also submit a duly-signed pledge of adherence to all safety protocols, and parental consent for minors.
* Working spaces and manpower deployment will be organized in a manner where physical distancing is respected.
* All pre- and post-race activities shall be socially distant or done virtually where possible.
• Post-Race Protocol:
* At Alert Level 1, the responsibility for contact tracing now lies with each individual rather than the event organizers or LGU.
* Participants, members of the LOC, Technical Officials, volunteers, and all involved in the 2022 SuBIT are encouraged to undergo self-quarantine and monitoring for at least seven (7) days after the event.
* One week post-race, should anybody test positive for COVID-19 or experience common symptoms such as fever, diarrhea, headache, or loss of taste or smell, this person must be responsible for informing their close contacts.
* The use of apps such as StaySafe.Ph is strongly encouraged.
EVENT FEES INCLUSION
Registered participants will receive the following in their race kit: race bib, swim cap, timing chip rental, and event shirt. Finishers will be receiving a finisher’s medal.

If you tested positive to CoVID 19, you have to inform your LGU for proper management of your situation. Your registration fee is non-refundable as such, we remind everyone to practice individual responsibility.

Tri -Age is used for sorting age group categories as per International Triathlon Rules. Tri-Age is computed by subtracting your birth year from the current year (2022 – Birth Year = Tri-Age).
