Race Rules and Guidelines
The following Race Rules and Guidelines are intended to help organize and direct our event in a way that ensures the safety of all participants. Your cooperation in making race day more enjoyable for everyone is greatly appreciated.
➼ Runners must read and understand the stipulated liability waiver upon confirmation of online registration. Runners who prefer onsite registration are required to complete and sign a liability waiver form when registering at the designated venue.
➼ To ensure the safety and well-being of every runner, a medical certificate valid within the last 6 months is required for all categories. Runners who fail to present/submit a valid medical certificate will not be allowed to participate. Laboratory test results marked as 'passed' are not valid and will not be honored.
➼ Any changes in registration details are permitted only within the given and official registration period. No changes will be allowed during or after the race. Failure to update details within the given period means the runner must run under the original registered information or choose not to participate.
➼ Runners who run under an assumed or transferred slot shall not be eligible for podium placement unless explicitly authorized by the Race Director.
➼ Runners must check in at least one hour before the gun start to allow time for mandatory gear inspection.
➼ Runners who arrive at the start line after the 15-minute grace period following the gun start will not be allowed to proceed and will be considered disqualified.
➼ Runners must carry their mandatory items at all times during the race. Random item checks will be performed. Aid Station officials have the authority, at any time, to disqualify participants with missing mandatory gear.
➼ Your Race Bib must be fully visible and must be worn at all times during the whole duration of the race. Race bibs will be marked accordingly at certain aid stations and check-points. Runners who can’t be verified as they pass through checkpoints and finish line due to missing or counterfeit race bibs will be automatically disqualified. Any disputes will be properly investigated.
➼ Cut-off times will be strictly enforced. Participants who miss the cut-off time at any of the cut-off stations are responsible for covering their own travel expenses to make it back to the start line. (Participants who declare themselves as DNF are subject to the same rule).
➼ A "LEAVE NO TRACE" policy will be strictly implemented. Garbage bags will be available in the aid stations. Runners will be disqualified for littering.
➼ To ensure proper navigation, every category will follow a specific color of ribbon as trail markers placed at intervals of roughly 30 to 200 meters apart. Junctions will be clearly identified with streamers. It is every runner's responsibility to pay close attention and follow the course markers at all times. Runners must stay on the marked course because there will be no allowance made for lost time or mileage ran in the wrong direction.
➼ Runners must have proper conduct and treat all locals, race officials, and volunteers with utmost courtesy.
➼ Violent acts of any nature for the whole duration of the race will not be tolerated. Anyone involved in altercation will be BANNED from all Lone Wolf events.
➼ Switching categories is not allowed while the race is in progress.
➼ All runners must bring their own drinking cups. No cups will be provided in the aid stations.
➼ A runner who decides to drop out of the race must notify the Race Director or the race official(s) at the closest aid station right away and turn in their timing chip and race bib.
➼ Pacers are not allowed.
➼ Support crews are not allowed outside of the aid stations.
➼ Runners must make themselves scanned by the time scanners. An omission in the time scanner is a ground for disqualification.
➼ No refund will be given for non-participation for whatever reason.
➼ No refund will be given in case of cancellation or postponement of the race due to factors and unforeseen events beyond the control of the race organizer.
➼ Altering the course markings will result in immediate disqualification.
➼ Any complaint on cheating must be made within 24 hours after the closing of the race and must be made in writing, accompanied by visual evidence, and be submitted to the Race Director/Organizer.
➼ The race will push through rain or shine, unless the Race Director/Organizer cancels the race for reasons beyond their control, such as extreme weather or any condition that may render the course unsafe.
➼ 𝐃𝐎 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐎𝐍 𝐒𝐎𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀.
➼ The Race Organizers reserve the right to reject any entrant or disqualify any participant who is suspected to be under the influence of illegal drugs, alcohol or having taken banned substances.
➼ The Race Director/Organizer reserves the right to modify the rules and race route at any time while the race is in progress for the benefit and safety of the participants.
➼ The Race Director has the authority, at any time, to overrule any rule or invent a new rule based on extenuating, unforeseen, and/or unusual circumstances and/or to maintain the integrity and fair play necessary for the successful completion, and continuation of the race. The Race Director has ultimate authority in regards to all rules, their interpretation, and their enforcement.
