Race Rules

General Conduct

All participants:

  1. Are expected to practice sportsmanship at all times.
  2. Will be responsible for their own safety and the safety of others.
  3. Should know, understand, and follow the Competition Rules.
  4. Are expected to obey traffic regulations and instructions from race officials, marshals, and law enforcement.
  5. Should be mindful of their safety and those of other participants and spectators, especially along turns, despite the route being closed to traffic.
  6. Should treat other participants, officials, volunteers, and spectators with respect and courtesy.
  7. Must avoid the use of abusive language.
  8. Must inform a Race Official after withdrawing from the race.
  9. Must compete without receiving assistance other than from event personnel and officials.
  10. Although aid stations will be available along the route, participants are encouraged to embrace self-sufficiency for nutrition and hydration to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience.
  11. Must not litter or cause unnecessary damage to the environment, which could lead to disqualification.
  12. Must complete the entire race distance by following the official route.
  13. Must act politely at all times and allow faster participants to overtake without obstruction.
  14. Must respect the surroundings, use only the official route, avoid polluting the race route, and not leave any waste or litter.
  15. Are prohibited from using glass containers on or near the course.
  16. Must not use offensive or abusive language, act unsportingly, disrespect officials, or ignore race regulations.
  17. Are no longer allowed to have escorts or aid vehicles during the race.

Equipment

  1. Only mountain bikes and gravel bikes in good working condition are allowed during the race.
  2. A rider not wearing a helmet at any stage of the race will be immediately removed from the course and disqualified.
  3. Proper running shoes must be worn during the running segments of the race.

Health

  1. Participants acknowledge that this activity is strenuous and should be in excellent physical condition. By starting the race, participants declare they are in good health and appropriate physical condition to complete the race.
  2. Participants are encouraged to perform periodic health evaluations (PHE) and undergo a pre-participation evaluation (PPE) before engaging in competitive sports.

Eligibility

  1. The participant’s age is determined by their age on December 31st in the year of competition.
  2. Participants who are minors must secure parental consent before joining the race.
  3. A participant competing in a category different from their age will be disqualified from the events they participated in, with any awards, prizes, and points removed.
  4. Race registrations are non-transferable. Participants caught competing under someone else’s registration or allowing the use of their registration will be disallowed from joining any All Out Multi-Sports race for 1 to 2 years, at the organizers' discretion.
  5. Any form of misrepresentation will result in immediate disqualification, making the participant ineligible for awards or titles.

Kit Claiming

  1. All participants must present a valid ID or birth certificate at race kit pick-up before the competition.
  2. All participants must pick up their race kit at the designated place and time.
  3. To have race kits claimed by a representative, participants must provide an authorization letter and a valid ID from the participant authorizing the representative. This ensures a secure and efficient process for kit collection.

Illegal Equipment

  1. Headphones, headsets, mobile phones, or any electronic listening/communication devices are prohibited.
  2. Glass containers/bottles are not allowed.
  3. Bicycles with missing front or rear brakes are prohibited.
  4. Aerobars/Tri-bars are not allowed.

Outside Assistance

Medical assistance, food, and liquid are permitted only at designated aid stations. All other outside assistance is prohibited.

Protests

  1. Protests concerning the eligibility of a participant must be made to the race official before the start of the race.
  2. Protests about course safety or regulation variance must be made to the Referee no later than 24 hours before the start of the race.
  3. A participant protesting another participant or official must do so to the race organizers within 15 minutes of their finish time. After this deadline, only protests following this process will be admitted.
  4. Protests concerning timing and results (time errors, athletes’ ranking) must be delivered in writing to the Race Organizer within 30 days after the competition.
    • This protest must include a deposit of Php 2,000, which will be refunded if the protest is successful. If denied, the money will be retained by the Race Organizer.
    • Information required for a protest:
      • The alleged rule violated
      • The location and approximate time of the alleged violation
      • Persons involved in the alleged violation
      • A statement, including a diagram if possible
      • Names of witnesses who observed the alleged violation

Running Segment Conduct

  1. Participants must follow the designated running route at all times.
  2. Running on roads or paths not designated as part of the course is prohibited.
  3. Runners must act in a polite manner at all times and allow faster runners to overtake without obstruction.
  4. Runners should be mindful of their safety and those of other participants and spectators.
  5. Participants are encouraged to hydrate and fuel adequately during the running segments, but must not receive outside assistance except at designated aid stations.
