General Guidelines
1. All Participants must abide by the rules & guidelines of the race.
2. Swim Start Time and Course are subject to change depending on Weather and Sea conditions.
3. Race Kits will be distributed on April 22,2023 and before the race starts. Race distribution will be at Club Monet Resort or should there be any changes, an announcement will be made.
4. In the event of unfavorable sea and weather conditions, the Organizer reserves the right to delay or postpone the race in the interest of safety. These decisions will be made on race morning and will be cascaded to all participants accordingly.
5. Any dispute or protest against another swimmer or any violation in the race shall be made in writing to the Organizer within 30 minutes of his/her finish time. A fee of [TBD] must be accompanied with the appropriate protest form. The fee will not be refunded if the protest is overruled.
6. The Organizer reserves the right to use any photographs or recordings of the swimmers/participants for any commercial, advertising or promotional purposes without prior notice.
7. It is the responsibility of each individual, Aquathlete, or participant to ensure that they are physically and medically fit to swim in the race.
8. All medical expenses occurred during the course of the race or as a result of the race are the sole responsibility of the participant.
9. The Race Director/Organizer/Race Officials reserves the right to remove any swimmer/participants unfit/incapable of continuing the race.
10. Age group classification is based on the participant’s age by December 31, 2023.
11. Cut-off Time (5 hours) Cut off time may be extended depending on sea and weather conditions.
12. Cut off time extension will be announced and confirmed by the H2OMAN committee and will be cascaded by the Race Director.
13. Participants below 18 years old must obtain parental/guardian consent and must be approved by the organizer to participate.
14. The Organizer and all its partners will not be held responsible/liable for any accidents, damages, or loss to personal properties.
15. The Organizer will not be held responsible/liable for any expenses incurred in the event of any cancellation/postponement of this race or due to weather conditions or situations outside the control of the Organizers.
16. The Race Director/Organizer’s decisions are final in all matter pertaining to the race/event.
17. Rules and Guidelines are subject to change without prior notice.
18. IATF and LGU Safety protocol will be followed.
Race Mechanics
H2OMAN 5km Openwater
- Participants will be marked with their race number on their right and left arm before the race starts.
- Race distance will be 5km.
- The Swim course will be a 1 km loop. To complete the require distance a participant should do 5 loops of the 500m Loop course.
- Participants will be given counter loop bands to help them with the loop counting. Marshal don’t have the responsibility to count your loops.
- There will be marshals in all turn around points. Failure to reach the turnaround point is a ground for disqualification.
- Participants will be released tentatively at 6:00 am. Should there be changes, an announcement will be made during the event.
- Participants must wear the swim cap provided by the Organizer. Failure to wear the cap might subject for disqualification.
- Participants may swim in any style throughout the swim course.
- Participants have an option to use a floatation device (SwimIT and Tow buoys only) approved by the organizing committee.
- Should there be an emergency, the nearest Kayak or Boat Marshal will be our first responder.
- Cut off time will be for 5 hours.
- There will be Top 3 overall winners and Top 3 winners on each of the age groups for both male and female.
H2OMan 3km Openwater

H2OMAN 5km Duo (Relay)

- Race distance will be 5km.
- The Swim course will be a 1 km loop. To complete the require distance the 1st participant will complete the 3km distance and 2nd participant completes the remaining 2 km. That will be 3 loops for the 1st and two (2) loops for the 2nd participant in our 500m Loop course.
- Participants will be given counter loop bands to help them with the loop counting. Marshal don’t have the responsibility to count your loops.
- There will be marshals in all turn around points. Failure to reach the turnaround point is a ground for disqualification.

- In the event of cancellation due to Force Majeure, registration will not be refunded.

SUBMITTED NOT PAID: After submission of registration and before payment, your registration is set to
