The 2022 Tagudin, Ilocos Sur Triathlon-Duathlon is happening as scheduled this weekend and will start and end at Filmag Beach in Tagudin, Ilocos Sur. For a smooth onsite registration experience during race weekend, please follow these steps: PRE – RACE ( before going to Tagudin) Participants are expected to practice individual responsibility. 1. Get Medically Cleared All racers are required to provide a photocopy of your valid ID,vaccination card/passport and a Fit to Race Medical Certificate. Failure to adhere will result to non-racing of participating individual. For other entry requirements of your companion/s, please coordinate with your chosen accommodation representative to avoid any inconvenience. 1. Download all Event Forms Download and fill out the following forms: a. Event Waiver b. Pledge of Adherence c. Health Declaration Form (body temperature will be checked onsite) Forms are available at: https://drive.google.com/.../1kMjo2eYrdwvNwurTlOnRsW33GOZ... Minors should submit a written and signed parental consent. Please take note that only one (1) set of said documents is needed to be presented by athletes even if racing for both events. RACE DAY Onsite Registration for duathlon is on 22 July 2022 from 1:00pm – 5:00pm and for triathlon it’s on July 23 from 1:00pm – 5:00pm at Filmag Beach. Athletes must claim their own race kit. STRICTLY NO releasing of race kit on race day. For team relay participants, make sure that all members are present before claiming your race kit. All members must undergo health screening in compliance with the health and safety protocols set by the local government. 1. Undergo Health Screening All participants need to pass through the medical screening tent first. Show your filled out documents for verification. Body temperature will be checked. If body temperature is 37.5°C or lower, participant may proceed to next step. Body temperature to be written by the medical team on the signed Health Declaration Form of the participant. 2. Check-In for the Event Submit your verified documents. Your bib number will be provided for your chosen event and a wrist tag will be given to participating individuals. 3. Claim your Race Kit Make sure that your race kit includes the following items before proceeding to next area: a. Swim Cap (for triathlon) b. Bib Number c. Bike and Helmet Stickers d. Event Shirt e. Registration Fees:

• Sprint Distance: Php 4,000
• Standard Distance: Php 4,500
• Standard Distance Team Relay: Php 7,500

Note: Slots capped at 250 registrants only. Registration opens on June 4-30,2022 but may be closed earlier if all race slots are taken already.

Note: Category Merging: AG categories from the same distance and gender with less than five (5) participants will be merged to the nearest age group with fewer participants. Merging will be done once the registration closes.

• Paid fees are non-refundable, non-transferable & non-creditable to future Tagudin, Ilocos Sur LGU, Chili Grass and TRAP-sanctioned races.
• Fees will cover cost of participation, swim cap, timing chip rental, race bib, bike & helmet stickers, finisher’s medal and event shirt.

• Body markings (race numbers) must appear on both upper arms and legs.
• Bikes must be racked at the designated spot of the bike rack in the transition area.
• Bare torso biking or running is not allowed.
• Vehicular traffic will be controlled but not closed. 
• Athletes must follow all traffic rules and watch out for his/her own road safety
• No headsets or music devices in the bike and/or run

Throughout the 14-day period before, during, and after the 2022 TAT, it is mandatory for all persons involved to perform regular health self-checks such as temperature detection and monitoring of symptoms.

• Pre-Event Entry Requirements:
  • Make sure you are fully vaccinated against CoViD-19.
  • Get a Medical Certificate attesting that you are fit to race.
• During the Event Safety Protocols:
  • Upon registration, each person is required to submit a hardcopy of the following documents:
    • Photocopy of Valid ID
    • Photocopy of Vaccination Card/Certificate
    • Medical Certificate of Fit to Race
    • Signed Health Declaration Form
    • Signed Pledge of Adherence
    • Signed Event Waiver
    • Written Parental Consent (for minor participants)

  • Working spaces and manpower deployment will be organized in a manner where physical distancing is respected.
  • All pre- and post-race activities shall be socially distant or done virtually where possible.
• After the Event:
  • All participants will be asked to leave the race venue right after the event.
  • At the end of this event, the local organizers will keep records of all involved for future reference should the need for contact tracing arise.
