Dirt Fest Course Description — West Silang Trails

Distance: ~40 km

Terrain: 85% off-road, 15% paved

Elevation Gain: ~500 meters

Start/Finish: Acienda Designer Outlet

Get ready to conquer the stunning West Silang Trails, a thrilling 40-kilometer route that winds through vast open spaces, lush landscapes, and vibrant local communities.

The course is a mix of compact dirt fire roads and single-track trails, with a few surprises along the way:

Off-Road Adventure: The majority of the trail is off-road, passing through scenic barangays. Please be respectful and courteous to the locals as we ride through their communities.

Natural Obstacles: You’ll encounter 3 small river crossings and may spot horses, cows, water buffalos, and dogs. These animals are generally harmless, but stay alert for leashes or ropes.

Terrain Challenges: After the halfway mark, expect a gradual climb, with the elevation building to around 500 meters as you approach the finish line.

Paved Road Caution: Around 15% of the course is paved. Be extra cautious when exiting the trails and entering public roads, as vehicle traffic may be present.

Trail Hazards: Watch out for low-hanging wires in off-road sections and stay aware of your surroundings as you navigate the rugged landscape. Some fences along the fast tack and single track route are barbed wired, please be mindful.

Despite the challenges, the trail offers breathtaking views and wide-open spaces — a perfect reminder to soak in the ride, enjoy the scenery, and embrace the adventure.
